Augustine Edet, NEXTZONAugustine Edet is Co-Founder & Executive Director/Chief Operating Officer of NEXTZON, a management consulting and venture development/management Company. He has 23 years of legal and business administration experience. Edet served as the Senior Associate Counsel of Guobadia & Guobadia (now The Law Union), joined Standard Trust Bank (now United Bank for Africa Plc) where he set-up and ran the Credit Control and Loan Admin Groups and served on several committees including the Management & Board Credit Committees. He later joined STB Capital Markets Limited as Group Head, Corporate Finance and Vice President, Financial Services & Telecoms, before moving to Heirs Alliance as General Counsel. He later served as Company Secretary/Legal Advisor of United Bank for Africa, Ghana and a host of companies in the Heirs Alliance Group before he co-founded NEXTZON in August 2004. Because of his diverse background, Edet is a key member of the Legal Implementation Committee of the Central Bank of Nigeria’s Financial Services Strategy Vision 2020.
