WIA2013 Day 2 Session 3: Sharpening the Saw

Ayodeji Megbope, No Left-Overs Limited
Ayodeji Megbope is the owner of “No Left Overs” Limited, a catering business in Lagos, Nigeria. She was an administrative executive for General Motors Nig. Ltd. and Corona Schools Lagos but saw an opportunity to pursue her passion when she recognized the challenges working mothers faced in providing fresh, healthy meals for their families.

She started her business in 2007 with only eight dollars of capital. Ayo credited the program with building her confidence, expanding her network, and equipping her with the skills to fully leverage these networks and business development opportunities. Her creativity, determination and resilience have helped many young women who were too scared to follow their passion.
She holds weekly mentoring sessions with some of these ladies, thereby helping them to maximize their potential. Ayo’s goal is “to be able to reach out to as many people as possible.” She is glad she is giving back to the society by helping those without seed capital to start small.
