Are you in the Agricultural sector? Then we have not left you out of this year's GEWNg2013 events! Agro-Ignite is an annual program hosted by The Enterprise Development Centre of the Pan-Atlantic University, Nigeria, for those in the Agricultural sector.
Agro-Ignite provides a forum where all stakeholders and sector participants can meet and network, and build capacity towards a better and more productive sector. Last year's edition held in Abuja, and heralded the enabling environment that the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development was creating for those in the sector, in Nigeria. There are funding opportunities, youth development, agricultural industrialization, and opportunities for domestic development and export.
Dr. Tony Bello gave the keynote address, as the Senior Technical Adviser to the Honorable Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development. There were also panel discussions with discussants including Mr. Jerry Gushop, Head of Agricultural Banking, Sales and Distribution, at Stanbic IBTC Bank, Dr. Mohammed Santuraki, Managing Director at Bank of Agriculture, Dr. Innocent Okuku, Head of Business Development, Marketing and Agric. Science at Notore, Mr. Aliyu Hameed, Deputy Head, at NIRSAL CBN, and PRofessor Sidi Osho, Vice Chancellor at Afe Babalola University.
This year Agro-Ignite is slated to hold in Calabar in beautiful Cross River state! And several Agricultural Sector experts will be there to help you through and show you the way!
