Market Access Nigeria is a platform that brings together Small and Growing Businesses [SGB] and large conglomerates and parastatals to create a structured platform for networking among SGBs and to promote growth of local content development and participation in various sectors of the Nigerian Economy. Thirdly, and most importantly, Market Access Nigeria endeavors to bridge the gap between large organizations and SGBs in Nigeria while fostering networking and partnership opportunities.
MAN is an initiative of Enterprise development Centre [EDC] of Pan-African University [PAU] in affiliation with both government and non government parastatals - Etisalat Nigeria, Ministry of Trade and Investment, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria [SMEDAN].
The MAN scheme started in 2011 and since then, they have been making impacts in leaps and bounds having brought together over a thousand SGBs and SMEs and over a hundred conglomerates. Every year since inception at least three events have been hosted annually, with the peak of the program being ‘The Pitching Session’ the winner goes home with prizes and win the support and respect of conglomerates, SMEs and SGB.
